One of the frustrating things about Google+ is that they haven’t released a full API to the service which would add functionality such as 3rd party access to post.
If you’re a blogger or podcaster then you know the importance of being able to communicate to as many outlets as possible in the most efficient way possible. Because of this I have been looking for a way to automate my blog posts into my Google+ account. Today I stumbled across this blog post and it appears to have come across the solution!

1. Get the feed url from your source (e.g. in Blogger scroll to the bottom get the url from the link where it says Subscribe to: Posts)
2. Go to Google Reader http://www.google.com/reader/
3. Add the feed using the Subscribe button on the left.
4. At the top right click Share and select the circles you want to publish to or Public
I’ve set it up as per instructions with my blog feeds and it seems to work very nicely!
Update: It seems this doesn’t work as well as described. Although it does consolidate all your RSS feeds in one place you still need to share them yourself to Google+. There is a “share to G+” button in the reader to click. Oh well, it is one step less complicated but, come on Google, let’s have this functionality automated already!
